For occasional use the needle type are fine.

I buy whatever has a lifetime warranty. I have 3 inexpensive click types, dial type, beam type and a fancy snap-on digital one for torque to yield bolts on heads and I use the inexpensive ones for maybe 90% of my job.

Honestly for a simple lift you wont need a fancy expensive torque wrench. A simple click type craftsman does great up to 250 ft/lbs for a 1/2" wrench. And when not constantly used in the trade they stay accurately calibrated for years. When they break you get a brand new one.

I thought craftsman didn't have lifetime on their torque wrenches?

Maybe not anymore, I can't remember the last time I bought tools at Sears. But whichever has a lifetime warranty will be fine just using the wrench as an example.

Craftsman click torque wrenches aren't lifetime warranty.

I have Husky ones. I have returned them for replacement on more then 1 occasion. But that has been a while so that might have changed, but they are usually really good with tool replacements

Kobalt 1/2 is $75 for 50-250 ft lbs
Kobalt 3/8 is $55 for 20-100 ft lbs

Tekton 1/2 is $40 for 10-150 ft lbs
Tekton 3/8 is $40 for 10-80 ft lbs

Only problem with kobalt is that I would need to buy both 1/2 and 3/8 for the torque range I need

Where can I buy these wrenches at those prices, please?
