Default sc 3815 problem? Help soon if possible

Plugged in used 3815 to my truck about 2 1/2 hours ago, followed the first step and screen commands to capture stock and ignition on like instructed. It still says "Initialization please wait" Is it normal to take so long or is there a problem? It's now 1915 here, but only so many more hours I can wait before I want to lock the truck. Suggestions?

Not sure what the issue might be, but it shouldn't that long at all to initialize.

No mods or changes, truck is stock, pulled fuse from amp and turned radio off; are there any tricks like turning ignition on/off or could it be frozen?

Update: Unplugged and started over.....the opening screen says 04-05 Dodge, I'm guessing that means it needs an update and we only have Macs.........today is a bad truck day between intake and failure of brand new tailgate lowering shock too, but now to a PC!
