Default Follow up to my "Handgun for Protection" post
OK.....After the replies here and on another site, as well as some of my research, I am leaning heavily towards the 10mm. Figured I'd start a different thread so no one thinks the old one is still dragging on.

Any do's or don'ts, or brands to avoid and reasons would be greatly appreciated.

Also frame size and barrel length. I am not as concerned with CC as I am accuracy & stopping power. The CC part may come later once my CC permit arrives in the mail, and may even be a different gun altogether.

Anything as big as 10 mm isn't going to be very concealable. 1911s in 10 are outstanding

I agree . I carry a Ruger P97 .45ACP and tried a 10mm. Both are big for using as a concealed weapon. I carry the .45 for the knock down. Also another reason i went away from the 10mm was the cost an availability of ammo. If you do your own reloads, its not to bad. I do my own reloads for my .45 as well as all my other guns.

s&w make the model 610 for the 10mm its a revolver. nice gun.glock 20 is nice too i just like a revolver
