I would imagine you could call a nuisance hunter to help limit them

In a subdivision 30 min north of downtown houston. They attack people yards everynight. Some have been killed by cars on the road. I just got hold of a few people that will put traps by my house to catch them

I hate those damn bastards.

There is nothing that I know of that will keep them away besides actually shooting their head bore. Hogs are extremely smart, as you well know, and they know that if one of their own, especially a bore, gets shot, they will leave for a while and sometimes indefinitely.

Default Hog hunters???
I would imagine an AR-15.. I don't think they like those. Lol
But I couldn't tell you dude. If they get close enough to you if you have a tazer it'll scare then away. I know it does good to scare my labs away from a squirrel.

We had a problem with coyotes so my grandpa made a huge trap big enough to fit a dog. The door is weighted by 20 pounds of steel, and locked in a channel, so it can't be lifted from the inside.

Here is the issue with anything that is not a high speed projectile: you can't and don't want to get close to them.

They are the spawn of Satan. If it's a bore or a sow that has piglets, that damn pig will charge you and attempt to rip you to shreds. Haven't seen it personally, but hogs are really bad here in East Texas. My grandpa actually had one try and accost him in his tractor one day. Pigs also will avoid traps too. Ask me how I know.....

hogs or javelina? Regardless I know urine can be used to help drive them away. Not sure if your piss will work or not but large predator urine (mountain lion) should do it and can be bought online for a pretty penny. Just make a perimeter around your yard/ home and it should keep them away.

or pick up a bow or one of these if you have some $$$

FX Verminator Extreme Precharged Airgun

Those will kill a hog, be quiet enough to use in a neighborhood and legal as it's an air rifle
