Going javelina hunting in February, pull out my bow and the string snapped. Called a few places and the cost to fix the bow is about what I paid for it 12yrs ago. Took out my crossbow sinceiI have a permit for that too and the serving on it is shredded and dried out (haven't used it in 10+ years. String on it is sold out and on back order across the US.

Looks like I'm going bow shopping

The bow I have now is a Pse, looking at this one now

Diamond Infinite Edge Compound Bow Package

I want something light and more compact than what I have now. Trying to keep it in the 400 range.

I'm personally shooting the PSE Bow Madness XP with the "Skullworks" camo pattern. Not many people like that pattern, but I personally love it. Can't go wrong with a PSE. Buying a new bow is always fun, but they sure come with a hefty price tag.

I just cant see spending $150 for a new string and then an extra 25-50 for a factory tune up. The PSE I bought was $300 new back in the day.

Prime or Martin are my vote but I am bias. Love both of my bows.

Well went out looking and came back with a redhead kronic bo. Read allot of reviews and for the price range I was looking this one fit the bill. Shoots real smooth needs a couple things but all in all a decent buy, specially at $200 off the price tag with a few gift cards I had from Christmas.

I was on a budget. Read all the reviews online for it and everyone had nothing but good things to say about it. It feels real good though and weighs a nice 3.5lbs with an 80% let off . Compared to my old one that was around 8lbs-10lbs with a 50% let off its like a night and day difference.

Nice! What draw weight you go with? What are you slinging for arrows/BH combo?
