If you haven't seen the Vision X Solstice Solo you need to check them out. This little light puts out an amazing amount of light for its 2" x 2" size. We've got quite a few heavy equipment repair guys running the flood version of these lights on their trucks. They can leave 4 of them on all night as they only draw .83 amps each. A few guys have made simple magnetic mounts and run a 9.6V kids RC car rechargable battery to power the lights. I saw one guy that uses his Milwaukee 28v battery from his impact gun to power it. They will accept any input between 9v and 50v DC.
