13+ LED TYC Tail Lights and PnP adapters

Just thought there were enough random posts floating around that we needed a dedicated one.

Any ETA on when the TYC's will hit the RetroShop store?
and how far off are the adapters from production???

I get questions about it often regarding how much $$$ and when.

So, here's the dealio....

I got these done Sunday, worked up my email to my supplier Tuesday when I was putting together another set for Matt - and sent my supplier a prototype for replication. They are taking a look and I should have a quote back tomorrow. From there, its going to be about 4-6 weeks on mass production. I'm getting 100 sets to start.

NOW.........I have a couple that I can make up in my spare time:



(did I just say spare time?!?!)

Anyway, here's my working prototype (13+ version here):



Like the headlight adapters there will be 2 versions, a 09-12 and a 13+. This is because the 13+ has bulb monitoring on the parking light circuit too (hence the dual resistors vs the single on the 09-12s).

Pricing isn't set yet. I know what I'm charging for my hand built ones.......$335 with a set of TYC tails. I'm not selling my hand built ones without tails yet. And......I have like......4 sets left on those.

So.........bring it.

Next 4 people that send me an email to [email protected] - I'll have them out by Monday (again, need time to finish them!)

2013+ Tail light conversion kit

Mine showed up last week, but the truck is at the dealership for some warranty work. I should have it back today or tomorrow, and I will be throwing these on as soon as I pick it up.

I can't wait to get mine in and lit up

...I dont know what the dealers in the U.S. charge,
but OEM LED's were $400 ea at my Canadian Dodge dealership.

I am also waiting for mine to get here and get them in!!

I've looked at every aftermarket LED tail light I can find and nothing beats the factory sport look to me personally.
I will be ordering these from JJ after the holidays.

Oversold on the ones I was doing up........d'oh.......somehow miscounted. LOL So, ordered in some more parts to get more done. Gotta love it! Come on mass producers.....lets get 'em done! haha

That is because people like what you are doing for them at a reasonable cost!
