My 10' to 14' upgrade is almost complete!
Blacked Out look with a Huge Boost in performance this time!

Before Surgery: (a little too much chrome for me)

After Paint and Tint, and HID upgrade:

Finally got to say good bye to my crappy GTS smoked light covers
I've had on my Murdered 10' Sport for over 4 years (yes, :facepalm: )

New 14' Sport wheels look great, but stock 10' chrome quads...not so much

Output shotz... (sorry for the crappy cell phone pics)

35W/5000k HID upgrade

Output Before/After, about 15 feet away from garage exterior wall at the office

GTS smoked covers on stock quad, low beam (yes un-driveable at night unless fogs are on)

Stock Quad low beam (covers removed)

New HID Sport Projectors

Same 3 shots but with stock fogs on:

GTS covers

Quad w/stock halogens covers removed

HID drop in kit 13'+ PJ Heads

The stock halogen fogs need an HID upgrade now too, yellow light = yuk!

Love the LED's on the new heads....

I finally got my aim dialed in,
Wish I could get a better focus pic,
but apparently my 2 year old Blackberry isnt ideal for night photography

Wall distance is just over 40' away, no fogs

Stock Quad low beam

13+ Projector low beam with HID (35w/5000k) no fogs

I cant remember being this satisfied with an upgrade,
I've got to admit I did it primarily for looks, but I now SEE (yes pun intended)
What all the HID hype is about!

I'll be placing my order for a Fog HID upgrade soon,

Haha told you to get HID for fogs as well

, this mod was a long time coming and by far one of the best mods.
Might as well get retroshop projector fogs with that HID kit

Projector Fogs? Ya right , maybe if I had Your Money.

I would have to have go with TYC's and have them painted Black,
...thats' over $600 with Mini Gatlin PJ's, almost as much a pair of TYC Headlights :crazy:

I'm more comfortable with $140 for fogs.

truck is looking killer man! Freakin' love it!

And I'll be ready for that fog order! I just got in..........well........a ****LOAD of parts, so much that I had to rearrange EVERYTHING in my warehouse today to get it all to fit! I've got about 50K in HIDs in stock and ready to ship!

Might be a time to do a sale.......hmmm......did I just say the S word?!!!

for two tone Black/Purple painted PJ heads and matching fogs for the wife's truck...

JJ, do you think the 35W/5000k fog upgrade ($140)
would be the logical choice to match my heads with the same color temp?

or does the slight purple tint on the PJ lens make going to a 6000k a better choice to get a match?

or am I over thinking this?

I take it the same style CanBus adapter plug and play will work that I used on the heads?

I'd go 5. The purple will change the low beams a hair....but not enough to make you want to go 6K

I'm almost ready to order, but have a feeling right after I place my order
"someone" is going to announce a sale on TYC Sport LED Tails/Adapters

I was going to tint my 10' tails out (mid smoke, not murdered), but the more I look at the 14' LED's
the more I want to complete my 14' transformation.

Sounds good, I'll wait it out a little longer until another payday or two,
then might just combine ship fogs and tails together.

I'm 99% convinced the LED tails have higher output
so will take a slightly darker tint than my old stockers.

I also noticed since I removed my tinted tail covers I can actually
see things in my back up camera in the dark back alley now, what a difference!

Well........I finally ordered parts to make a few tail connectors.

Now.......for all of those who just read that......no, they won't be available tomorrow. LOL It will be a bit before I get the parts in, made and tested. Then........I'll have a couple of hand made ones, but will then move to get a few hundred made in bulk

Well I need a set of PJ for the camaro as it needs them

I know she would love to have the same setup as yours Mike but with a hint of plum crazy purple, maybe if she is a good girl she will get a set for her birthday.
