Came across a set of OEM projectors on ebay from a '14 Laramie (in great condition, no broken tabs, cracks, etc) for $340 plus $40 shipping. Had to buy them.

So to my question...

My truck is a '13 Big Horn with factory quads. I am going to purchase the '13+ dual resistor adapters from Retroshop. Is this the correct adapter for these OEM lamps? My other question is, can anyone give me advice on where the best spot would be to mount and ground the resistors? I guess I can figure it out when the time comes, but I'd love some insight from people who have already crossed that bridge.

Now I just need some LED tail lamps!

Yes those are the correct ones. The quad lights use the dual resistors. I have the exact ones from the retro shop on my truck which is a 2014. It is easy to hook up the harness backwards unless he has changed the design from when I bought mine. Don't plug in the resistors until you turn the lights on and make sure they are hooked up right. I had one side hooked up backwards and blew the resistor almost immediately.

so my truck came with the quad lights and I bought the factory projector headlights off ebay.. What should I buy to make them work and I hear of people complaining of the poor lighting the put out .. so before I go and spend any money to put them in.. What is the best route to go... I have searched the forums... Call me not so bright like the output of these projectors lol .. However I feel direct answers to my questions will make me feel confident approaching this installation ... thanks in advance

I upgraded to factory projectors in my 14. They are much better especially the high beams. Is it life changing?...no.but they are better and they look a whole lot better. Completely Changed The Look of my truck. Get the adapters from Retro Shop and it's a plug and play. My harness from Retro Shop could be plugged in either way. Not sure if they are still like that or not but turn on the headlights and make sure they are plugged in correctly before you hook up the resistors so you don't take a chance on blowing a resistor. I had one plugged in backwards and couldn't tell until I turned them on. You also might need to adjust them after you install them depending on what truck they came out if. It is very easy to do. There is an access hole in the top of your fender. You can refer to your owners manual.
