JJ is doing a set of lights for me , set of tails level 2 and a 3rd level 2

My question ... I kinda want to go gloss black EVERYTHING but the shrouds , leave them chrome .

My truck has touches of chrome that I am keeping .

Or he was going to do the shrouds in half black and half chrome ??

Either way the bowls are going to be gloss black .

What do you think ?

Here they are before paint .. love the size of the 2.0 shrouds !

With projectors, I'd say do touches of chrome with mostly black. I think the lights in the pictures have too much chrome for how little your truck gas.

The back of the lights WILL be black ... I am just saying the shroud , all chrome or half and half .

Again ... the only chrome on them WILL BE ...LOL the shroud .. the back parts and the orange thing will be black .

I am just asking about the shroud .. leave it all chrome or do stripes of black on it .

I need a chop !

Make it all black. And do the stripes chrome on the shroud. Would be very subtle, but good.

Exactly! Should be just subtle enough to go with the chrome grille inserts and the bull bar chrome. What heat hids you going with?

And........on the shroud - honestly, I would leave it all chrome.

Heres what it looks like a few feet back:

Doesn't "pop" as much as I hoped.

all chrome.....

and hey, you can still see the chrome from a little ways back

Hell...........I'll be honest with ya, I kinda think leaving the turn and the shroud chrome would be awesome. tie it in a hair. But then put gloss black over the rest, and a light tint on the reflector.

Need input ...
