I was thinking if it were possible to retrofit some 2012 duals or quads with halos to fit a 2013 and have a custom conversion harness to make it all work. As much as I like my 2013 projectors, I love the modded and retrofitted style of the 2012's way more.

I have quads painted black with mh1 projectors with 35k ballasts and red led halos. Wish I had the 2013 projectors.

Yup opposite of your current connector to use the 13 projectors on the older gen 4's. and darn was hoping there was a connector laying around. I tried checking at the dealer but they couldnt bring up a part number for me.

Wanted to do a little project but my dealership wants $1800 for 2 new oem housings. Might as well get something completely custom if im gonna be swinging for above the 1k mark lol.

$1800 for 2 new lights!?!!? I knew I was cheap on them at $645 (SHIPPED in the lower 48) but $1800? Thats crazy!

Fully custom, bring it on bud! :D

Sheeesh..........at $1800, I could take a new set of the '13s, swap the projectors to FX-R (REAL HID projectors), full set of HIDs, and paint it however you want it done. Hell, that would be a lot less than $1800.....

Yeah, Fort McMurray markup lol. Always more expensive up here where the oil comes from. Just gotta take some time to see exactly what i want to do with em. My current ones have a condensation issue and leds are burning out so if warranty comes through i might just leave the headlamps as is and do a fog light retrofit to projectors and black out the reflector instead.

Been a few up here with the issue. Dealership did a few hid installs like how i did mine and it rains a lot here, condensation keeps getting inside and blowing out the leds. So pretty much if i end up getting the headlights done up those led leads and wires are gonna be covered in dielectric grease rofl.

Those wires are a ***** to get to.....

If they do the HIDs right, they won't have an issue. Hell, fold the wires at the bottom of the gasket - just lay them all side by side - and the gasket on the dust cap will seal it up.

Well they pitched a fit because i did mine on my own. Cut a small notch out in the lip the boot sits on, filled it with silicone, layed the wires in it, silicone inbetween the wires and ontop and a little on the lip on each side. Then siliconed around the area after it was sealed. Boot on and tighten it down. They claim cause i did it, it might not be warranty. Although last i checked silicone repels water lol.
