It drives me crazy that my clear taillights have this stupid dark ring all the way around-

Is there a way to get rid of this?

I've been thinking of taking mine apart and painting them white. But is there some type of cocking I can use to reseal them in white and not this dark crap?

Thanks in advanced.

I would be willing to bed that its not the sealant that is causing that color. It may be in the lens itself.

if the black is in the lens......won't matter.

Even if its not, removing it ALL would be a royal *****.

That's in the actual lens. Not the sealant.

One of these days I'll probably go ahead and try it anyway. its just one of them things that always drives my nuts seeing that.

Thanks now I'm "really" looking forward to removing that stuff.
