I haven't. There isn't really a LOT of room there for a projector, well, if any. I'd bet that 50% of the projector from the mounting points forward wont fit.

The 3rd gen fogs are round; the 4th gen are more oblong. You would need that extra space to have support for the projector (I'm assuming). I want to say they're a little taller too, but that is just guessing.
That's really a question for JJ though since he's probably looked at them both closer.

no shroud will fit without a LOT of cutting.
There are some aftermarket "projector" fogs out there, and I've seen them opened before and a different shroud put on them. I'm not sure what size they are.......but, putting some in those little boogers will be quite fun.

Day job? What is this you speak of?
I think I might do the shroud, heat up some plastic, with the projector in, form the plastic around the fog light. Paint that ***** black, seal it up. Boom. 3rd gen fog light retro fit. I think

the vacuum forming one? yeah, thats not going to be your biggest hurdle. Shrouds can be cut, projector mounting will be the fun here.
