I just got some drl's I'm going to use for backup lights and they're still in the box, had to drop the truck off to get my 4.56 gears installed right after work today. I already miss my truck, gotta drive the wife's jeep for a couple days. As for the stockers I have to decide what i want to do. I don't really want hid's but would like to get them painted, just don't want to overdo it.

****, I wish I could get a light order in on a Friday night, ship it Saturday and it arrives on Monday! Parts, YUP! Custom lights, eh....kinda booked up on those!

I am stoked about my gears, but i have so many little mods/projects going on i cant find the time to get them done. I guess while i wait i can look at my manual and figure out which wires to tap into for reverse lights. I wish i could have a switch to activate them while still hooked up just to f*ck with tailgaters without back feeding the power.

Jeremy, my truck is Inferno Red Crystal Pearl, I have a lot of chrome and plan to keep my chrome. What would you recommend on painting the extra headlights i have. I plan to keep my halogen bulbs, and i will be removing the front matte black bumper cover and installing a painted one.

paint 'em red, leave the amber in them, but leave the turn signal area chrome.

then we can paint some evil eyes on them ********.

I know, wrong red, but.....so badass!

i don't mean to thread jack, but are those 4th gen tips?
i thought i was the only one rocking them on a 3rd gen.

No they are flowmaster 4" tips, basically the same thing though. But I have a magnaflow muffler lol.

I wanted to mount them between the bumper and tailgate but when I open the tailgate they would hit.

Yeah, his custom lights are pretty much the best thing since electricity! Plus if I had to rate his customer service on a scale of 1 to 10... I'd give it about a bazillion! :ehcapt:
