Well, it's about time to start buying parts for ol' bloodhound now that I'm finally closed on my house. I'm looking for opinions here because I'm torn between 2 setups.

#1: 6" RCX, bilsteins up front, 1.25" body lift, 35/12.50/20 on a 20x12 wheel

#2: 6" RCX, bilsteins up front, 37/12.50/20 on a 20x10 wheel

What do y'all think? And anybody have pics of these set ups?

Here is how she sits now

you'd run more lift and a wider wheel on a smaller tire?

Yes, for a couple reasons. One so there's absolutely no worries about fitment, and also the 1.25" of body lift will just slightly set it apart from every other average 6" lifted Ram on 35s. Also the wider wheel will balance out the added height.

Off topic, but who makes that tonneau cover? Looks great on your truck and I'm looking to replace my factory trifold .

i guess my point is what would you do that for 35's but not for 37's? doesnt make sense to me, but to each his own.

as far as 35's vs 37's go, my decision would be based off your gearing.

It's an ARE fiberglass cover. Actually looking to sell it eventually. It's a great cover, I just want full access to the bed. Truck came with it when I bought it.

The reason I wouldn't do that with 37s because a 12 wide wheel on a 6" even with bilsteins gets into some serious rubbing. I'm not looking into completely hacking into my bumper or trimming metal.

Nice. Thanks. To bad shipping would be insane otherwise I would probably take it off your hands.

I have to agree with some others; in my personal opinion, you have the tires flopped. If you're going to do a 6" + 1.25" BL, 35's are going to look really small, but again, this is my opinion. I'm running a 6" suspension + 1.5" body lifts with 20x10 Fuel Vapors wrapped in 37x13.50 Toyo R/T's. I understand what you're saying with a 12" wide wheel rubbing if you put 37's on, but I'd stay with a 20x10 if you're going to add the body lift and use 37's.

But if you are absolutely set on your setup's, I vote option #2.

Your current setup looks real nice.

As far as your choices, I would stick with the 35's for the fuel economy.

I've got a hell of a work commute though.....

Honestly my worry is going TOO big. Never would have thought that would be coming from me lol. I just don't want to waste money realizing it ends up bigger or smaller than I reasonably want it to be. I've been constantly changing my mind on this for about 2 years now

Love your current set up. What tire size are you running on there?

I have 35's on a 6 inch , and there is only about 1 - 1.5 inches before it hits the fender, I also have 20" wheels , 35x12.5 on 20" motometal rims. It looks good, but any bigger and it would fill up the wheel well to much! IMO
