I put mcgaughys 2" drop springs on the rear of mine. The ride is great but for some reason the driverside rear sits about 1/2" lower than the passenger rear. Double checked to make sure they are installed correctly. Even rotated the driverside spring to see if made any difference.

Anyone else have this issue?

This isn't uncommon. Mine did this with stock as well as lowered. My OCD got the best of me and I pulled out a cutoff wheel. I don't recall if it was a half or full coil removed since it was done to both my stock and lowering springs. It's a quick job and he spring still stays tight in the bucket if you end up going crazy over it like I did. Once I noticed mine I more often then not could see it in most 1500 4x4. 2wd doesn't seem to do it for some reason. I believe mine was .75 lower but I also had a 6ft bed crew cab so I figured it was from the extra bed weight.

Mine is 6'4 crew cab 4x4. It bugs the crap out of me because I can see the difference. I figured it might be from the gas tank being on the driverside.

Take a tour around your local dealers lot with a tape measure, you'll find a lot of the 4X4's don't sit equal side to side even when they're new.

Specs?? 4x4? Sits perfect!

Thanks.

It's a 4x4. 305/45r22's

Ground force 2in front springs trimmed a 1/2 coil off.

Belltech 4in rear drop kit. With 3/4 spacer and airlift bags. (I didn't want to rear to squat, and I like a slight rake.)

Now I'll start getting sway bars and all that stuff.

They are avs. They are like black. Plus the windows are pretty dark so I think that helps.

Looking for some help on lowering my new work truck. Its a 2014 2500 4x4 crew cab with a long bed and the 5.7 hemi. I do garage doors for a living so the truck has a rack on it and being able to easily reach it would be nice. I've been looking and can't find much if any options for lowering kits. Didnt know if anyone had an idea of what might work or would be needed. I'd like to level it at a minimum but a 2-3in overall drop would be ideal. Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

Spoke to Belltech they wont warranty it

Belltech doesn't make a 4wd kit. You need either the McGaughy's Deluxe kit w/ spindles or the Ground Force kit. McGaughy's doesn't list theirs for a 4wd, doesn't mean it doesn't work

I believe the only way to bring the rear down on the 2500 is with air bags or cutting the factory springs. I don't know anybody that offers shorter springs for the 2500 4-link. I would recommend air bags so it can be a dynamic height and can compensate for increased weight. A WirelessOne compressor kit would be cheap enough and with an AirLift 5000 bag you'd be good.

Do you know what part numbers? Is there anyone that has done a 2017 4x4 yet on this forum?
