The 15.26.1 is a solid software version .
I have the same SW version , to my knowledge there's no issues with it at all , I've enjoyed it and I do not plan on upgrading my software , at least anytime soon .
Not sure on the 16.....software or the 17....SW , but I'm certin of the 15.26.1 SW having no issues .

Does your 15.26.1 have the album artwork on sirius channels or is it still the channel logos that looks way better? Personal preference but I HATE the album artwork, most the time its a faded ****** looking picture, or just the channel name with a ******** blue square! I need to get back to a version without the artwork

Yes you can! jus go into the apps section then click and drag the app down to where you want it on the bar, it will re position the one that is already there!

Yes Sir it does have the album art ....this channel doesn't have the blue ; however, other channels do have the blue square , now I see what you mean by the blue ...it doesn't bother me , but I see how it may bother others .

christ almighty.......what sort of half assed IT people does ram employ? This update sounds like a giant cluster ****. So now we have a ****** up radio system update that is screwing up various parts of the radio interface and we have ( those with iphones ), a ****** up uconncect app that constantly launches for no reason when it connects via blue tooth.

My truck came with the RA1 3.0 nontouchscreen radio , I did the conversion upgrade to the RA4 8.4NA from a 3500 2015 Ram and my current SW is 15.26.1 and everything works great , I certinly will NOT be upgrading to the 17......update , I have considered updating to the 16.16.3 Software version , but now I'm even more concerned about updating at all ?

Has anyone had issues with the 16.16.3 SW in an RA4 8.4AN 2015 Model?

At least I won't be getting the OTA notification

Recently I've had issues with my 8.4 out of the blue. My GPS time is incorrect causing the NAV to be off and the cellular module appears to have failed. The following fix worked for me to get past a flash reboot loop but I have yet to try calibrating the GPS and my truck thinks it is stationary in downtown San Antonio...

"Hello all, As on numerous other threads, I recently purchased a used 2014 JGC Limited with Nav. Previous owner had not done any updates or even recalls. After following the directions to update UConnect, downloading the file (I had no problem with a scandisk thumbdrive by the way) I too got held up at unit 10 of 12, 1% downloaded. Same error: "Air Card Bolo install failed." I tried with car in RUN, engine off; car engine running, and even while driving. All with the same result: Radio frozen, requesting to put the USB back in.

Frustrated I turned the vehicle off and called UConnect. I got a real person at 2230 on a Sat night. They knew exactly the problem. Here was the fix:

Get back in your Jeep.
Turn the vehicle on, engine running.
When the radio says, re-insert the thumbdirve/flashdrive.
As soon as Unit #1 starts loading and gets to 1% pull the drive out. (Its okay if you get to 4-5 %)
Turn off the engine and vehicle
Open the driver door and wait for the radio to go black (Sleep)
Close the door and start up the vehicle as usual. Update should be done and all systems back to normal.

If you thought this was a fix for the NAV, the reason I wanted to do the update in the first place, it is not. The fix for the NAV, as told to me by the UConnect rep. Find an open area (Field, big parking lot) with no electrical lines or nearby cell towers transmission sources, etc. Open the drivers door, and do three tight circles, driving counter clockwise. Door should stay open the entire time. I will try it in the morning, but the first fix, was as advertised, so I'm finally hopeful. After over a year of trial and error testing, they seem to have found the tricks to fix the issues. Best of luck and Semper Fi!"

I just updated to the "16" update last week. I haven't noticed any issues as of yet. The main thing I've noticed is that "SIRI" appears underneath my cell signal status when I'm connected to the truck. Now, with that being said, I have a 2014 8.4a Alpine set up. I do not have the NAV, or a subscription to satellite radio. I mainly use my memory card for music.

Same here in New Orleans for my 2014, but I wont be applying anyway until i see official feedback on correcting these reported issues.. washed out backup cam display and voice volume. Both of which i use daily and dont want to deal with while waiting on a patch. And btw, big thanks to Andrea for keeping us updated; I dont mind waiting if i at least know the status.

My 2015 was updated last week. Since the update My Iphone 6 will connect and everything is fine except when I try to play my music through the radio. I get the song title and timer but no sound comes out. I have tried to reconnect several times but still get no sound for music but it works for phone calls. No update on my Hellcat yet and everything is still working fine with it.

Try deleting the pairing from your phone and adding it back again.
