Thanks for the insight, that helps. If it rode like my lifted 2500 I'd be  in a week!

I should have added that on a normal, smooth road the ride is almost like stock.

Bumpy, uneven roads is really the only time you would notice the firmer ride. This is the given trade off with performance springs really.

I was used to the ride with in the first week or so.

As far as ride quality goes mines a bit harsh in the back... I'm probably going to add some air helpers like a ride rite or similar from air lift. Its not terrible but driving through the downtown core it bottoms out from time to time..

Do you think it's the GF shocks or just the limited travel making it "harsh"? Did you go with a lower profile wheel/tire combo? I was looking at the 305/45R22's on Hellcat replicas but I'm starting to rethink that idea and may stick to 20's.

I don't think it is the shocks but more to do with limited travel and stiffer springs in the back. Quick hits you feel more due to the stiffer springs, again this is the trade off with performance springs with a higher spring rate.

There is also limited room between the bump stops and the axle so you may feel that as well.

For me the ride fits the increased performance in handling and on normal roads its like stock but a little firmer. I.E. you feel more of the road being transmitted though the truck to you. It does not ride like a 2500 or 3500 by any means to me.

If anyone is interested it looks like I will be removing and selling the GF lowering kit towards the fall.

The reason is that as much as I love the increased handling and braking I am just not feeling the lowered truck feel or look.

I know I am the odd man out of this however I miss the higher truck feel and look honestly if that makes any sense.

I will be going back to a stockish height but will continue to improve the mushy stock ride with some bilstein's and raising the front a little at 1-1.5".

I will update when the kit is out, it is a complete GF 2/3 kit and will come with a complete stock front strut assemble with the springs already installed, rear helper bags and shorter swaybar links making this a bolt in kit.

Not a huge difference, wish it was more. Ride is def. stiffer but handles awesome. Hopefully it will settle a little more. Maybe I should get a little higher profile tire to fill the gap more????

Also leave or remove the step???

My wife doesnt need it now its low enough for her to jump in now.

If you don't need them, off for a clean look.

Looks really good with that wheel/drop combo!!!!

It does look like it could be lower for that "slammed look" but looks good to me as is.
Yeah I think it will look cleaner without too.

I wish it was lower, but I think Im gonna save up and bag it anyway, I found a local guy that can do it and have it sittin in the weeds :)

Truck looks great! The step looks sleek, not boxy like some others. What wheel/tire combo is that! Oh and ya, Photobucket sucks. $400 a year for third party posting, I'd pay $40 but not $400.

I would set up to a 305/45R22 before lowering it more.

Get a Nitto 420 or Toyo ST2 in the 45 sidewall and it will look lower due to the wheel wells being filled up more.
