lol i tried both areas when wade sent me mine but had to remove them because they blocked my vision more than improved. Guess we all like different things.
Wades customer is top notch no doubt about that

Just got mine delivered. I can't decide if I want to mount on top or bottom. Top would be better for towing I think and bottom is better for seeing curb.

Any input?

Edit. I ordered from Amazon.com and I have no colored dot on back. Is this expected?

MaxSteelRam,

First of all, thank you for your Order! I really appreciate it.

As for the placement, it is an almost 50/50 thing where I see half of my customers install them on the top corner and the other half on the bottom corner.

If you try a position and realize later you would rather move them to the opposite corner, let me know and I will send you new adhesive strips.

Lastly, you mentioned the colored dot. You are good. I used the dots to track what materials I was using during the launch of the product to see what adhesive worked the best. That program has long been discontinued and there are no dots placed on the back now.

Please do keep in touch and let me know if you ever need anything at all!

Sincerely,
Wade Starkenburg

Well guys, the hits just keep come with Wade. So I ordered the original RM9 (I think they were??) Mirrors when they were introduced, and I was happy enough with them. When Wade very first came out with the new design RM10's I liked the concept better, so ordered those. And have been 110% happy with them to date. Just recently I noticed some distortion where the reflective film bubbled so I sent Wade a message just asking if he had seen that before. Feeling as though these things were well worth the money I just planned on buying another set. It's a good product that supports a great entrepreneur. Well within MINUTES of sending Wade that message (before I could even order a new set) I had a reply and a shipping notice. A couple days later, the updated glass version is in my mailbox! Honesty, tell me anywhere that provides service like that! Bottom line is, this guy is an absolute gem in the ram community and we are extremely lucky to have him and his excellent niche products. I only wish he made more products as I would buy every single one without hesitation. I was taught by my grandfather that the measure of a man is his honor, and Wade measures as high as any I've dealt with.

Well done Sir, well done...

Thank you guys!! I sincerely appreciate your kind words! What a great way to start out a Saturday with such blessed notes.

It goes far beyond making a business, it is all about making sure everyone is taken care of and through that I have met some wonderful people and blessed to have created lifelong friendships through it.

Thank you, again! I am very humbled!

Sincerely,
Wade

I am a new 4th gen ram owner (picked up a CPO 2015 Big Horn yesterday), my first mod are these RM10 mirror addons and while I was at it, I ordered the Medium size RPC Phone Holder (also made by Wadestar).

Now, if I can just decide top vs bottom... My last truck I had the round adjustable kind installed at the top (I figured I used the bottom part of the mirrors for objects that are close) and I was able to use them to see the curb for parking.

Are these convex enough that when installed at the top I can see the curb for parallel parking (I'm in the NY area, so it is a normal thing to have to see the curb when parking)?

EDIT: I am now reading that Amazon may have old inventory, is this still true (I ordered from amazon prime)?

JPT,

Thank you for your generous order of both the RPC Phone Holder and the RM10 Blind Spot Mirrors. I very much appreciate it!

(To answer your question about Amazon and their Inventory, there is always a chance you get something they've stashed away deep in their warehouses, but every week I restock them with fresh inventory so the chances that you get something old, is minimal...but, like I said, possible. If you have an issue with the set, or any other problem you incur, you just let me know and I will take care of you. My direct contact information is on the back of the packaging, or you can contact me here on the Forum).

As for top or bottom, I think for your application of wanting to see the curb on a regular basis, I would go for the bottom. I have them on the top and see the curb, but because of geometry from your seat and head level, bottom makes a lot of sense.

Again, thank you for your purchase and I hope you enjoy both products. Feel free to contact me with any more questions or comments.

Sincerely,
Wade Starkenburg

Thank you for your kind words and great report on the mirrors! No better way to start my day than to read such a beautiful message.

RM10 on tow mirrors

I have a 16 2500 with tow mirrors and can't stand the blind spots even on those so I ordered a set hoping these might help.

Anyone use these on a set of tow mirrors?

Andy (Udeluz),

What a great way to connect! (For all others who are following this, Udeluz grew up in the same small town in Western Washington. He moved away after the 6th grade to Illinois and pretty much lost touch, until now...what a small world!)

Andy...let's keep in touch as we now have each other's contact info.

The radius doesn't match for the tow mirrors. Kinda sucks because the quality of these mirrors as opposed to all the other ones I have tried is second to none. I'm still going to try and " modify " these to make them look right.

I think the tow mirrors would work a lot better if I flipped them up, but I'm not one of those " ghost trailer " guys.

I'll keep you all updated.
