if you get a 4" and add bilsteins its the same as getting a 6" kit anyway, only difference is with a 6" you can always go higher, with 4" and bils that's the max

Couldn't I get the bils and just keep them at a lower setting for a better ride? The 4" kit comes with bils set at 1" I believe. But I don't say that with a ton of confidence either.

You guys got me really thinking hard about doing a 4" instead of a 6". There are some good looking trucks here. My delimma is my 3.21s if I did 6" lift my heart is set on 37s but I know a regear would be needed. Decisions decisions

I'm in the same boat with the 3.21. That's why I am deadset on 35s. Plus I don't want to spend that much on tires for the rest of my life lol

That looks great man. I really like that stance. What lift did you go with? Any tips? And do you have any idea of how it affects the warranty?

That's simply the Superlift 4" lift with no Bilsteins to level off the front....so still has slight rake because the Superlift kit lifted 4" in front & 3" in back.

It was installed through the dealer so completely covered by warranty.

Superlift is the one I am leaning towards. What was your stock rake? Mine is 3". If I lift the from 4" and the rear 3", wouldn't I still have a 2" rake? I don't want to set my bils that high because my favorite part about my truck is the smooth ride.

Go 6"
I went through the same thing. Everyone on here was saying they regret not going bigger. I didn't really take the advice and I went with 4" on 35s.

I wish I went 6...

I'm still on the fence whether to get 4" or 6". More pictures would be awesome! I also have the lift narrowed down to Superlift or Zone. Any advice? I only do light offroading (driving through leases and to fishing holes). I do live near the beach so painted parts would be a big deal for me.

I was the same....3" rake before and 2" now. I don't mind the remaining rake.

Most people set their Bils for the two lower settings for a level look. As long as the install is done properly you shouldn't have any problem.

I don't think I've seen a member on here say that tbey wish they would have just done a 4" after putting a 6" kit on.... both look good and just depends on what you're after. Both the zone and superlift kits are good choices. I would go with the 6 unless you have any height restrictions.

My 4" Superlift with 35s is plenty tall for me. If you have shorter family members you need to take them into consideration as well. My garage opening is 6'11" and my front bils are set at .7. I'm not sure it would fit in the garage if I had a 6" lift.

Same reason here...I want my truck in the garage.

I have strange garage height so I was having trouble clearing the garage door opener, not the door itself , even with just Billies @ 2.8 and 305/55/20 tires. So my truck can only stick its ass or nose in the garage for my repairs. I knew she'd never be a garage queen.

The reason I went 4" instead of 6" was to give my tiny wife, my young kids, and dog an easier time climbing in the truck (but I am 6'3"). Funny thing though, I did the Zone 4", left the Billies at 2.1 and now sit over 6" in the front anyway! So technically I am 6" lift.

I don't regret the height with this Zone/Billies. What I regret is not waiting a little longer and getting the BDS lift. The Zone lift compared to the Billies alone is a rougher ride. Love the height, it is just stiffer all around. BDS is worth it if you can afford it. (offtopic, sorry)

Not off topic at all. I am still considering the BDS. If I get the zone lift with the heavy-duty UCAs, I'll be about the same price as the BDS lift. I am by no means going to be really rough on my truck, but I plan on having this truck ten years so I want to it right (even if it has to cost me a little more money).

That is what I did, Zone UCAs with the lift. I would have gotten them with the BDS too, but I simply didn't have enough $$ at the time to do it. Don't get me wrong, this Zone lift is no slouch, it's just for ride quality, the BDS is tough to beat. But the Zone UCAs were a no brainer.

I’m glad I went ahead and bought the Zone arms with my bds, truck rides smooth with no noises at all.

You did the BDS 6" with the Zone UCAs? What size tires did you go with?

If you don't mind me asking, could you give me a ball park figure of how much the dealer charged to install? I am making a budget right now. I have wheels and tires picked out, and I think I know what I am going to do for the lift kit. Only number I am needing now is installation cost.

Well I got the tires/rims/TPMS, Bushwacker flares, Retrax One tonneau cover all installed by the dealer.

The Superlift 4" kit itself was $2100.

The labour for the kit & all of the other bits n pieces above was another $900.

That's in Canadian dollars.....

6" lift. I probably sit nose high about 1/4" with this procomp setup, but you really cant tell. Sorry, no pictures on level ground. Lift shop showed me a small spacer I could remove to bring down the front a little and may get me level, but I'm totally happy with it and I was initially determined on being perfectly level as well. If you are even thinking you may regret not going up to 6" lift, then just do the 6". Just that 2 extra inches will give it a different look.

is this with 35" then? Sweet truck though
