Thanks Nick - I concur it's downright scary fast in Sport + mode. Mine arrived today direct from CA/Vitalin Auto Performance. Slick packaging and took 10 seconds to install. Mine had a green warranty sticker on the controller - must have been a warranty/refurbished unit but I'm ok with that given discounted price. Seems to work normal and very intuitive controls. I really wanted it for fuel saving/range expansion but will be fun to test off the line.

That sticker is normal. Thats so if you open it up to play around and break it then try to warranty they will deny it since you tampered with it since the sticker will be broken once its opened.

Does your guys pc make a “clicking” noise when you put it in gear??

Not that i noticed but between the music always playing and the loudish exhaust it may but i might not notice it. Ill try to remember to turn off the radio and pay attention.

No noise from mine at all that I can tell. it's till in the center console so I can change it when I like.

Started running it in "Eco" mode after my fill up yesterday, we'll see if that makes a difference.

I have a pc too and while I just have it in city 0 +/- mode, i just cant get passed the placebo effect. It has made the truck more "responsive", but to me i paid $250 for a chip set to apply the gas pedal a little bit more than what my foot is actually doing.

I dont know how anybody drives around in the sport or sport plus modes, its just so un-linear in the way the pedal is applied.

its a fun toy all in all, but if i had to do it again, i wouldnt spend the money.

just my two cents.

i read that many owners had check engine light codes being thrown in eco mode. May have to do with not enough voltage ( or hrtz maybe ) going to the tps sensor and the computer reads it as a faulty sensor.

I'm feeling the same. I've had it two days now and have tried it in every mode. I agree a fun toy but not at all convinced yet it will yield any fuel savings. In fact, I think it actually increases consumption in virtually every mode except maybe in the basic eco mode. Even then, I have seen the mpg meter tick lower in idle/park eco mode using the micro adjustments. Will give it a few more days of testing and decide whether it's worth keeping - thankfully there is a 30 day money back return policy. Also, wondering why the pedal lag is that way in first place - does Ram not want a responsive pedal?

About 100 miles so far and no codes. I have it in Eco, no + or -. So far my EVIC mpg is up some from the usual, but I haven't done much city driving as yet, so we'll see this weekend.

I'm inclined to agree with you guys, City+ mode is the best I've been able to go with. Sport was a bit much, and the one time I put it in Sport+, I couldn't stop the tires from spinning. If Eco mode helps with the MPG, then I'm all for it, but if not, then I spent the money for nothing. Could sell it so it's not a total loss.

Interesting, a lot of people have complained about codes being thrown when in eco modes.

just so people know, the eco mode is the complete opposite of what the real point of the PC is. In very simple terms, eco mode applies the throttle LESS than what you are really applying with your foot when pressing the gas pedal. In other words, if you press the gas pedal 25% off the way with your foot and you would expect the servo to open the throttle 25%, in eco mode, its only opening it 20% off the way.....there for saving your gas and accelerating the truck less than normal.

The other modes ( city, sport, sport+) do the complete opposite. If you apply 25% pedal with your foot ( depending on the settings ), the PC is telling throttle servo to open up 30% of the way. If you increase to more sensative settings, the amount of throttle applied gets larger and more agressive. Like I said, i dont know how people drive around in any of the sport modes, its just so touchy and the pwer curve ( to me ) is just so un-linear.

That's part of the beauty of the '09, seems it's less prone to computer/electronic issues than the newer (13+) trucks.

Still as of right now, I'm not seeing much improvement. Maybe a little, but after some city driving this weekend, it's not much. Also, according to the site, Eco mode is also good for driving in low traction conditions. Having driven in the snow/ice, I can see that it would help, especially with the torque of the Hemi. But at the moment, I'm not overall thrilled with the PC. But, since I own it, it's a toy to play with, and testing continues. After a couple months, if I don't find some benefit, I'll probably sell it and look for other mods.

I have one on my truck and when I am not hot rodding around I got about 1/2 mpg increase. The better throttle response makes it worth it alone!

We are running 20% off them. PM if you would like a quote and to order or you can use promo code NPPCXMAS on our site!

I've had the PC for about 4 months now on my 17 Rebel. There is no gain in miler per gallon. I drive mine in the city mode. Very seldom will I put in Sport mode. I drive conservative most of the time. I read on another forum that someone had the PC in ECO mode and some type of error appeared. I was driving last Thursday while raining and was in a hurry. I had to turn PC off, the truck was spinning tires to much on the wet roads. Now I do love it and it makes it that much more fun to drive!!

I've heard of the error code too, seems I recall it being a TPS error. Still no code on mine, and not much in the way of MPG increase according to EVIC. I'll try the lowest Eco setting on the next tank and see what happens.

I've had mine for a week or so and love it. I didn't buy it for fuel savings though. I've been running it in sport mode. Mostly 3 or 4. So responsive. No we have snow on the ground so I run the truck in auto mode. Too much fun. I know the traction control is working overtime lol.

I didn't buy it expecting MPG increase either, didn't even see that claim till just recently. But, since I'm not thrilled by the PC so far, I figured I'd give Eco mode a try and see what it does. I'm a fairly conservative driver for the most part and seem to adjust myself to whatever setting on the PC, so it seem it's doesn't do much for me.
