I want to see just what the 5th Gen 1500's would look like without the big ugly hood badges.

Can someone with more skill than me shop the one showing out? I can't get the image to blend well showing what the hood looks like without it.

:D For that matter, delete the door "RAM" emblem also.

Thanks.

That's a new 1500? Thought they had the squinty headlights. That badge definitely sucks though.

@ 17CrewCab1500, Thanks, much appreciated.

Yup, the Limited and this one, the LoneStar. You gotta admit, removing the hood badge does make it more tolerable. Now to just delete the 1970's cowl induction hood bulges and it's nice again.

Well hell, I hated the gen5 just for the squinty headlights. Getting model without the squints, I bet Jeremy could liven them up!

Well hell it's finally happened! Some auto makers just hit the design just right for about 6-10 years on some vehicles, Ram was one from the 3rd to the 4th gen looking great, sexy, muscular and edgy and the best looking truck out there, 2nd gen was okay with the right mods, but they really came into their game with the 3rd to 4th, and then they lost it, changed it, and somehow it goes to **** like the 5th gen. Sorry, but it doesn't have THAT look any more! Ce la vie!

They need to delete that whole design and start over, but it does look remarkably like a Toyota Tundra now!

Problem with debadging that hood emblem is (correct me if im wrong) it is recessed into the hood, so if you pull the badge you end up having rectangle indents on the sides of your hood lol

At least the Silerado IS a Silverado and the Tundra IS a Tundra. This new design is just trying to be milktoast.

All good questions.. What IS is trying to be? it certainly isn't trying to be a ram any longer. NO crosshairs, no "big rig" styling, all soft rounded edges. It looks like the lovechild of a head-on collision between a 2015 accord and a Ridgeline.

Lol I gotcha I gotcha. The 3rd gen ram is all soft rounded edges though, as well as the 2nd gen....... So it's in the ram history to be "soft rounded edges." One thing I 100% agree with you on is complete and total B.S. to ditch the crosshair grille, that was wrong on every level IMO.
