This looks a lot like the old Superchips unit I had. I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while.

Has anyone installed it into a truck with an aftermarket head unit with an iDataLink Maestro? I know the Maestro intercepts the signals/settings to the display and makes them available on the aftermarket head unit. This is my next mod planned.

I cant answer this 100% for sure BUT from our talks with EDGE as far as other products that work in a similar manner they will work together.

When they added it to the site they must of just grabbed the average gain, EDGE said peak is 30

this does things the average tuner does not like tune on the fly and being untraceable

U said they were workin on tunes for this unit but you need a hand programmer. So is the hand tuner gonna add more functions, like shift points, tire size, more HP , etc

This is all in early stages and not yet determined. This is probably a better question for the custom tune companies at the moment.

Not to be a "Negative Nelly" but mine has a surge that is annoying. I have contacted Edge a couple times and they are aware of the problem. I last spoke with them yesterday and am awaiting a call from their engineer. I will keep you posted...

What would be the advantage of a pedal commander plus a tuner when you can buy a tuner that does what both do for only $375.00. Diablo Sport Intune I3 Platinum which does the throttle adjustment , custom tunes , tune many vehicles at the same time , plus all the things most other tuners do , Edge ,super Chips and Diablo Sport are all owned by the same co from what I have read.

Pedal commander offers much more adjust ability than any tuner can. also every tuner except the edge pulsar needs to be stopped and flashed to change settings, where the pedal commander can change settings on the fly. the PC has more settings and can adjust much more than the Diablo can. we have many customers running both

Have you tried the the throttle settings on the I3. Comes with 15% standard in each caned tune with a separate slide adjustment to go much higher I dont remember the percentage but I would think to be any quicker it would have to read your mind and be hell on ice. I can see where adjusting on the fly with the diesels could be of value as they get big increases in power but us gas engines don't get nothing compared to them . Seems like a lot more money for very little gain to me .Maybe the money boosts the placebo effect like loud exhaust on a stock engine. Glad they are selling for ya anyway .

Honestly if you havent actually used the pedal commander you probably wont understand the difference it actually makes. I am very familiar with the I3 settings as well as many other tuners. as far as throttle response there is no comparison and its not about power its about the throttle response with the PC. It nice to change it quickly depending on driving condition or if the wife needs to use the truck lol

I guess , if you say so. I just can't see that much money only to reduce the throttle delay slightly more than a tuner can and do nothing else in relation to what a tuner can do for not much more .

I will take a pc controlled stock motor over a non pc controlled any day of the week . Its not just " reduce the throttle delay slightly", it is one hell of alot depending on setting used.
To each their own but I'm sure enjoying mine and was money well spent while keepimg warranty intact IMO
