Wondering if an upgraded transmission cooler is necessary with a 3200 stall torque converter and a Paramount Stage 3 transmission? I'm just afraid that being this is an every day driver and I will "Try" and cruise under these set rpms that my converter won't be locked and will start to heat things up too much. LMK what you guys think.

Bigger is always better lol. If it isn't an arm and a leg to put a new cooler in I think it might be worth it to explore the option.

This depends on the converter that you run. If you have a Trinity or the factory EVIC system, then you can always just monitor your temps and add the cooler after the fact if you feel necessary. We have plenty of customers running 3000 stall converters without any issues with heat. I'm assuming your new tranny will include a deeper pan, so that will help as well.

Its a Pro Torque brand. Good to hear, I'll probably play it by ear and just monitor the trans temps and go from there. Thanks!

My trans temp runs 155-158 with 3200 stall even on the hottest days.

I will eventually add an auxillary cooler to get it back down to the 140-145 range.

Very good to know thanks! BTW I'm curious with the current stall you have what are the driving characteristics like and does it change the idle any?

No change to idle or pedal feel, that still feels like spring loaded wired crap. It drives a little looser than stock, but if you're really concerned then get a Edge with a lower stall speed. They seem better suited for streetability whereas Circle-D is built more for track use and HARD launches.
