Loaded my DCX intune into my 2011 Ram, everything went smoothly. After installing the tune, I decided to go back and adjust a few parameters (speed limit, tire size). When I went to adjust the tire size to a 35" tire it adjusted it, but when I went to click the green check mark to accept it, it won't allow me. It is a if the touch screen is no calibrated to the buttons location. how can I fix this. I tried to re calibrate the screen, but it request a password and I don't know it.

Emailed Diablo sport and they had me call in and gave me a password to recalibrate the screen. Fixed it, awesome support! There's a reason that I've purchased three Diablo tuner products for three different vehicles.... They rock on all levels.

You cannot change shift points on the 8 speeds as there is not currently any 8 speed trans support. To get the Hemifever tune, simply go to the link below...

So I went ahead to load the hemifever 89 tune and it went through the cycles and then it seemed it hung up and then said error. Unplugged it and loaded again and said in recovery mode and stated loaded last back up. So the intune dcx loaded that and said successful. I guess I am back to stock now....

How do I know if I am in the stock tune now?

I wonder what caused the error writing to hf 89?

Any suggestions?

Which is the best model unit to buy for the most control and parameters on a 2011 or does it matter? or more so what is the difference between Trinity Tuner and DiabloSport i2 DCX tuner, is it just the gauge option? cause I read Hemifever tunes available for both.

The programmer parameters are the same between the two. The only difference is the real time gauge monitoring feature of the Trinity.

If you don't want or need that then save some bucks and get the DCX InTune.

Trinity gives you the monitor to view gauges and record 0-60, 1/8th, and 1/4 mile times. It loads tunes faster and is easier to datalog with. It also works on just about every American made vehicle from 2000-up.

The i2 gives the exact same tuning as the Trinity, but you do not get the monitor. You can still datalog with the i2, but its a little slower and more difficult to use for logging purposes. The i2 only works on Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep vehicles. 1 big plus for the i2 is that you can buy extra tuning certificates which will allow you to tune more than 1 vehicle with the same tuner. They have to be Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, but it is a feature that you don't get with the Trinity.

Thats is a huge plus for me as a charger and jeep are soon to be purchased in the next few months.

So if you have your trinity in monitor mode often when you are driving and don't half the monitoring when you shut the vehicle down why does it make your dash lights stay on?? Yet if you halt the monitoring truck ***** down like it should.

PALUBY..try using spell chk....Once the engine SHUTS down and your key is out, nothing should be on but your trinity..It will stay awake till you unplug or goes into sleep mode..It will still draw power from battery so dont leave it plugged in for an extended time and not run the trk..

Spell check*. Got it. Thanks. Anyways, I'm saying that the DS Trinity does indeed go into sleep mode but if I leave it in monitor mode and walk away with my truck SHUT off the dash lights will flicker every so often even though the DS Trinity switched from monitor to sleep mode. If I press the exit mode which takes the DS Trinity back to the main menu and than shut the vehicle off or unplug the DS Trinity and shut the vehicle off my dash lights turn off and stay off. So something with the monitor mode is causing power to be sent to the dash.

If you're seeing this with the truck off I'd just play it safe and unplug each time. I leave mine in and in monitoring mode and haven't had an issue yet. I've been doing this for a couple years now. The only issue I have when leaving the Trinity plugged in is the remote start range is greatly reduced.

Seems like a good place to post this:

CMR Tunes written for a Predator can be used for a Trinity and vice versa.
Intune and IT2tunes are not compatable/ they are different. So If you upgrade to a IT2 from a predator Or decide you want to sell yout trinty and use a IT2....and you have a CMR tune you will need to have it changed by your CMR tuner.
