    Toyo R/T......warning

Agreed.. my rears on my ram always wear faster than the front. Sounds like an alignment issue or issues with your lift install.

    diesel or gas???

Mines definitely no racer but I never feel like I'm lacking power. That's why I prefer diesel power, it has the grunt. I average at minimum 26 mpg on a tank with plenty of stop and go, but normally 27 or better. I've seen 30+ on many long highway trips. In 14 months I've put 53k flawless...

From everything I've heard, Terrible service though.

Sick of listening to Ford guys.

...and crappy exhaust manifolds, and the chatty spark plug job. That being said, I drove an 09 and it was flawless for 60k for me and then my brother in law just traded it in at 160l and it was still going strong.

I'm assuming you meant the 5.4l. The ticking was probably an exhaust manifold leak.

Who cares? I've owned both, drive a 14 Ram 1500 eco diesel right now and it's the best truck I've ever owned. The eco boost makes nice power but they're a joke as far as mileage.

Ram pentastar real world mpg and review

I had a 13 for 10 months and put 26k miles on it. I'd say hand calculated you can expect an average of 22-24 mpg if you drive at least 50% highway. The power was sufficient, and it didn't have any issues. Good combo. My ecodiesel gets about 27 average with the same mix but cost a lot more...

    New Express...

Drove an 8 sod ram yesterday...

The pentastar packs a big punch for its displacement, and with the transmission it shines. As far as not liking the 8 speed compared to the 6 speed I don't agree with previous posters. I think they're awesome, they shift smoothly, get you better mpg's and keep you in the power better. I drove...

    Ram 1500 vs tundra

The tundra was the most recalled 1/2 ton on the road for awhile. Look into the air pump problems. The name Toyota doesn't necessarily means its anymore reliable.

    12 valve ate dust

Run a heavier weight oil? At least until you can save up for a rebuild if that's truly the issue.

    Gas or Diesel

Just test drive them both and make your decision. There's arguments on both ends, and each have valid points. The 6.4 is fun to drive, while diesels are nicer to drive in my opinion. You just need try them and decide for yourself.

    Suprised Buddy with G8

Never liked the G8's. I did however like the last model Grand Prix gxp's. My mother owned one for 3 years and I drove it probably a half dozen times. torque steer was a ***** but they were ckmfortable and a sharp looking car. I'd still buy one as my work car to keep the miles off my...

    Gas or Diesel

I agree, you get more miles between oil changes on a diesel. You're changing yours really early unless you're working it all day. Plus anyone who says that the 6.4 hemi will get comparable mileage to a CTD is full of it. Towing or empty the diesel will get better economy. I happen to think...
