    I have the 5.7 in a 1500. The oil level was fine and the oil meter life gauge was at 50% at 5200 miles. I'd never go 10k without changing it. About 5-6k wil be my limit.

    I've had both the 3.21s and 3.92s with 8 speed transmissions. In your case either will do fine. My 14 that had the 3.21s came stock with 33" tires. Don't beat yourself up over it.
