    Vacuum canister location

The vacuum canister is located on the Passenger side under the plastic cowl cover. You do not need to remove the wipers to access it. Just remove 2-3 of the plastic torx screw that hold the plastic cover down. You can then lift the cover enough to access the canister. There is a vacuum line...

    NV3500 conversion

Hey guys I'm putting together parts to convert a '96 SC SWB auto to a manual transmission truck. I have a couple of questions. Is the pushrod for the brake Master cylinder the same length on auto trans pedals and manual trans pedals? Is the drive shaft the same length? Thanks

    5 speed swap

Will a bell housing and trans from a 3.9L bolt to a 5.2 or 5.9? I think that I have read that it will. Also, did the 3.9 come with the NV3500? If not initially, did they switch to that trans for the last few years? Thanks

    Which track bar

I'm looking for an adjustable track bar for an '01 1500 with a 2" level. I have a BD diesel on my CTD but I'm not finding a lot for the 1500. Any suggestions? Thanks

    33x12.5r17 LT tires

I have a set of Gen 3 wheels to run on the gas truck in my signature. They currently have 285.70r17 tires. I'm putting a 2" level on and am wondering if anyone is running 33x12.5R17 on a stock 8" wheel and if they rub. Here it is with the Gen 3 285.70r17s and no level yet.

285.70R17 on Gen 3 8" wheels with zero rub. I do have a 2" level on the front.

    Pcv

So I did a little more reading in the FSM. The crankcase breather/filter is no longer used with the 3.9L, 5.2L or 5.9L engine. All 3.9L V-6 and 5.2L/5.9L V-8 gas powered engines are equipped with a closed crankcase ventilation system and a positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve...

    Pcv

How does the engine get to "breathe"? If the elbow goes to the intake and the PCV goes to the intake. Are you sure the elbow doesn't go into the airbox? Just trying to figure this out. Thanks

    Pcv

Hey guys I'm new to the gas engine 2nd Gens. I picked up a 2001 318 and it had an aftermarket cold air intake. I picked up a factory air box at the JY from an older 2nd Gen. The thing is that most of the JY trucks are older and have a breather on the DS valve cover and the PCV on the PS valve...

    Parking lights are staying on

That would be great. I'm hoping to check another yard and see if there's a switch.

    Parking lights are staying on

I think the 2001s had a head light relay. No?
