i recommend the adjustable. its a tad more money up front but if your ever swapping trailers around u dont need to worry about different drop hitches and tow safety. i tow my boat and a car trailer and i have two different settings for both to make sure the deck is nice and flat
Measure the height of the trailer coupler sitting level, then measure the distance from the ground to the hitch. remeber theres gonna be some squat with some weight on there. i went twith a adjustable to be safe but id say around8-10in drop
Ofcourse it will. 9 inches of lift is still 9 inches of lift tho. i was simplying compare the two and the gap with the 35in tires. i dont think it would look bad with an additonal 1.5 body lift. Maybe thats my opion and everyone is entitled to their own
anyone happen to have the part number for the rear fox shocks 2.0 for a 6in lift? all i have been seeing is 5in lift for the rear or theres some that say 6in rear for the megacabs...
i think the 1.5 will be just right. i dont think it will be "dwarfing" the wheels at all. yesterday i got to compare the truck to a customers f150 we did awhile back. hes sitting on a 6in procomp lift with a 3 body on 35s with the same offset as me. i personally dont think his looks dwarfed at...
im sitting on a 6in rough country lift with 5in rear zone springs. bilstiens maxed out at 2.8 up front with 20x12 -44 sitting on 35x12.50x20s. have plans on doing a 1.5 body lift ontop
heres another one. btw anyone know how i can enter in the truck of the month ?
im on 20x12s and i rubbed at full lock with a full 6in kit. cleared it with billsteins maxed out fine maybe that can help ya but im also on a 35 mt tire
yeah ive been leaning towards the 1.5. I just want something alittle bit more im not going for 37s as of right now but is the 1.5 even gonna be noticeable?
as far as the labor im not worried about it. im a mechanic by trade and have my own lift and done multiple body lifts for customers...
