    Hmmm......Greene told me I didn't need MDS plugs on his cam & Hellcat lifters 5 years ago. I probably have about 12,000 miles on them. Petty's Garage even installed top end without a hint MDS solenoids needed to be changed out & plugged. So even the so called most knowledgeable seem to have failed.

    545RFE is a dog off the line until 3K because of tall 1st gear in transmission along with most 3:55 geared differentials. Taller/larger tires than stock amplify loss of torque down low also.

    You don't need a converter for 8HP70 with stock or a mild cam. If it was a 65RFE transmission then yes converter needed.
