Are locking lug nuts worth it?
due to the socket that slips over them, locking nuts are less likely to scratch the finish of your wheels, when you change a tire. I big plus if you have aftermarket wheels that have a step out to get tire away from radius arm!- MT Hillbilly

Purchasing a extended warranty, yes / no?
everybody has their own story. I had a non fca extended warranty. when I had a blown strut, they would only cover the cost of replacing one, not both sides.. IN my opinion, that could lead to unsafe handling. So I canceled the warranty, and used the money I saved to buy fox shocks all around...- MT Hillbilly

New guy question...
I bought a stall mat from Murdock's, they just lay down between the fender wells, and are designed to keep things from slipping, plus have ridges to let it dry underneath after a rain. I also cut a 2x4 for the back slots, to keep bottles from rolling to the front NOBODY likes flat coke ;')- MT Hillbilly

Wth is this? Block heater on gas motor?
most of the rigs in AK, have both oil heaters, and block heaters, as well as a heating pad under the battery. And yes, you plug them in as soon as you get out.- MT Hillbilly

When I bought my first 2010 I did put it into four low, instead of turn the radio knob. Of course all the auto stuff, didn't actually let it shift , but. I leave mine alone, but I totally agree, with you I will feel a shutter, or it doesn't sound quite right, and I think UH OH, and look down, and the eco is on. Catastrophic Engine Failure
I bought it when I bought my 2010 used, after a couple months I discovered a strut leaking oil from a pin hole. I took it to mechanic, and found they would only replace the one that was blown.
