    Battery Tender

    Look at CTEK battery tenders. They have a lot of features. I picked up one 5 years ago when we had our Camaro, but use it to maintain our camper battery all winter. It can recondition batteries as well.

    2017 2500 6.4, antifreeze smell?

    Mine has been pressure tested and I still can smell coolant when the engine is hot. The dealer said the hoses are known to be slightly porous and to check coolant occasionally. Our Jeep & Charger were the same way.

    These Firestones suck

    The Firestone Transforce are bad tires for anything but dry blacktop roads. I switch to BFG KO2 tires for the winter & only use the Firestone’s in the summer.

    New BFG K02's

    I have nothing but good things to say about the BFG KO2 tires. They perform as expected on my 1 ton and did the same on my former 1/2 ton truck. People complain about tire wear, but wear and performance go hand in hand. I read a lot before buying them for my 3500, but ended up with them...

    Synthetic Oil

    The 4 cylinder Equinox has a lot of issues of oil consumption. Look it up. Changing oil & viscosity will not fix it. My daughter has one and I watch the oils lol closely. By the time the oil light comes on, the engine is already 3-4 quarts low.

    We have a 2016 Jayco 28BHBE which weighs about 9300lbs. My truck is a 2016 3500 with 4:10 gears. No problems here. If I was concerned about mpg, I wouldn’t be camping! Love this truck!

    BEWARE! of Mopar extend warranty.

    I guess the FCA dealership knowing that it sold the vehicle to a company should have known that before selling them insurance. The owner said he will no longer buy a vehicle from them.
