I like the new software...the site is much faster now and more modern! As a forum runner myself, I feel for you guys with all these complaints! No one is ever happy with anything, LOL! These changes are necessary for security more than anything. Hackers will hack a forum just for fun.

One thing about the vendors in the sidebar...I don't see them at all with adblocker on.

Please report nsfw issues and we can review them.

Ok I just did, please review all avatars and/or change policy to prevent NSFW avatars. Or maybe give an option for users to hide viewing avatars

So far the only thing I don't like it the orange. A more neutral color would be nice.

If you moved the mostly irrelevant info from the right hand column (users online, recent threads) and expanded the text to take advantage of the entire screen on an iPad in Landscape, the software change wouldn’t really be a problem.

I surf on my iPad 95% of the time and almost always in Landscape orientation. Currently, the posts are limited to a small box in the middle column. It makes it difficult to read as sentences are just too broken up. I may be in the minority on iPad.

This sums up my biggest complaints. I only use my iPad for this site. I could easily do without seeing all the users online and recent threads lol. I thought it was just mine but this is what I see...

Well looks like other sites are easier to negotiate. Wonder how many users will abandon this site?

how is this software hard to navigate. The forums and their respective subforums are set up the same way as before.

Haters gonna hate... I say onward and upward. I like the fact that the admins and the site's owner care enough to worry about security. Let me be the first to say thank you, and I will continue to enjoy your forum.

I like it. It's clean and revised, easy to navigate. Don't have to look at it so hard compared to the last soft version. Good job.

Haven't tried it out yet on the ol win7 laptop yet but a few things with Tapatalk access that are different and you may be working on ...

- PM's: are now only a conversation view vs seperate Inbox and Sent folders (handy for keeping track of things imo).

Not sure if this is due to the forum software or a Tapatalk update. (I had to log out and back in to Tapatalk before I could even seem any PM's/convos

- Like others, I can no longer see user vehicle info in their profile when viewed on Tapatalk. (Location, join date are there).

Bonus !!!
Spoiler function may be active now! But I need to verify on my PC/ browser also.

I don't want the forum hacked and then everything lost. That's what I mean about security.
That's good news and worth the change IMO.
Last few weeks there has been a significant uptick in obvious spam links/posts by new users (same people with different accounts). I've seen 2 favorite forums overrun and more or less crippled by it. (Sdx developers and RootzWiki).

Hopefully the new user sign up process is able to minimize it.

I can't recall if it was Maddog or Quietpeen that would say ... "Spammers die a quick death!" or something like that.
there is no limit on conversations like there was private messages
That is probably a fair trade off.

Most of my forums have been moved over already, besides FordRaptorForum.com.
Nice. I assume FRF will also be moved over?

This new format runs a lot faster on my PC anyway.
