I have a BakFlip G2 that is a week old. The rails and hardware are brand new. The cover is a week old but has a 2" tear in the rubber. This can probably be fixed with silicone, but you would have to deal with the look. 5'7" bed no ram box.

I am asking half price of what I paid... so $400 picked up. I am in the Tampa Bay Area. I am more than willing to ship. It will not be cheap though. The package is 70lbs and is shipping from 33781, box is 68"x24"x10".

No - the cover is already in the box. I have my new cover if you want to see pics of what it looks like on the truck. I will see it's not really noticeable unless you look for it though. The third picture I took with it folded so you can see it at its worst.

FYI, Bakflip WILL relpace/repair that tear for you if you want to entice the buyers. They gave me a brand new updated model after mine leaked an it was 2 yrs. old. :)

If it’s the seal in the front of the cab you can get another one for about $20-30 IIRC, I replaced mine when I had to pull the cover off to have the bed line x’d.

Can you close the tailgate with the cover closed? I am almost positive that the g2 has to have the cover not latched to shut the tailgate?

Yep.. technically it states to let the back part of the cover up then close the tailgate then let the cover down but I’ve closed with several times without lifting the cover.

^^ This. They say this so it seals correctly. Not much of an inconvenience though, just need to grab the wire with one hand, lift the cover up an inch an close tailgate with the other.
