The batteries are a toss. They can go either way.

I think there was an issue with 2016 Jeeps having batteries crapping out. Maybe there was a bad batch during that MY. But yeah, it can happen. I had a factory battery last me almost 7 years on a Cadillac. Then on a Chevy factory battery went bad after 3.

It should have some warranty left on it.

Yeah, batteries are a toss up. However is it possible you have something draining it that you are unaware of? Just a thought, I had one few years on my car that kept going dead on me way to soon and it turned out to be a fault in the "lojack system" that was on it when I got it. After removing it...no more problems.

Cut and paste from January...Oem battery for the snowplow prepped vehicles should be larger than the standard battery...imo...Plows and salt spreaders take their toll...

I recently got an Autozone Duralast Gold 94r series for close to 50% off...I used the Autozone price matching policy to my advantage...I went to the local farm n fleet and took a pic of their brand gold series 94r battery priced @ 92.99...Then drove to Autozone 3 min down the road, and showed the cashier girl the pic and asked if they still did price matching....YEP...The autozone battery had a much higher 800 ca/950cca/140 reserve than the FnF battery...So I walked out with a $187.00 battery for $92.99 + tx...I kept the Mopar oem (JUNK) battery for a backup...
