The forum changed because Shaggy(the owner) needed to change it to a new provider. It is much faster on mine is it for you?

I don't really notice any difference in speed. Other than a few small annoyances, it is better to me. It would be nice if it would play nice with Tapatalk. Any insight on that?

Can't remember if this was discussed here before, anyone have any info on BND Aces IV? This was posted over in the 6.4 Clattering thread:

Seems kind of like snake oil to me...

I didn't even know that thread existed, let alone the the product mentioned. Seems interesting, but their own internal links to their products are broken... trouble in paradise? Their back yard testing method for their oil is an entertaining read for sure.

Fuel system additives have always been intriguing to me... especially those that claim to be a cleaner, UCL, and an octane booster all in one. It almost makes me wish I had an engine in or on something that had issues I could test that out on.

Quick random question. I remember watching a video in the last about oil filters. Was it the RP10-48 that was the same exact as the best amsoil filter I can’t remember it’s exact name ?

RP and Amsoil EA filters are very similar, all model numbers. Same place builds them with what appears very similar specs. See oil filter thread in my sig of you haven't.

It's definitely very fast now, although before it was fast too.
I liked the simple clean interface of the other older design, this one seems too flashy and futuristic. Too much screen space is being taken up for large colorful borders and buttons We'll get used to it...

If I had to use something other than Amsoil EA or RP filter I guess the next option would be a Fram Ultra. They have had good reviews by some but I'm just not a fan of Fram in general.

And to let you all know, Red Line did nothing to my Chevy knock. If it is pistonslap then the oil can't do any magic anyhow...

Will trade it in soon for a Sport

The thing that most don’t know OR understand is the Fram Ultra is not even made in the same production as the Reg Fram Filters.

At one time very recently 3/4 of the so called synthetic media filters were produced in the same facility (Champion Labs.)
The FU & RP filters were 2 of these filters.

I know but even though they are made the same place they are still made to Fram's specs. It's seemed to me that I've always had more startup clatter with Fram filters, no matter what brand or what vehicle.

At one time this is all I needed to see!
Notice the Amsoil & RP filters are Identical. (At this point & Time)
The FU specs are second to none!

Any of these filters is over kill but awesome piece of mind!

By the way I really like the new forum layout.
