Ok. I found a black painted grill at the junkyard for $60. Im picking it up today and I’m gonna start over. Hopefully they pulled the support bracket with it

if they dont, all you have to do is cut the lower corners off your exist frame, hold the new grill up to the old frame and you will see what you need to cut

I do it nice, cause I do it twice. That seems to be my theme lately. But overall not a bad find for $60. I used car-part.com to find it at a local junkyard. I’ll sand it down and color match it. I’m not sure if I want to do any red accents on it. What are your thoughts? Remember I have the red accents in the headlights. dae48d860e7fd0303f94f8a0860c4f36.jpg

Make the emblem's background red. And maybe the bars, or if you put a mesh/gutter guard grille in, paint that red.

Or get a mopar emblem, and paint it red/partly red. :D

Also just for the sake of letting you guys know I have bad ideas too, here is what I tried doing with the honey comb grill inserts on the other grill. I gave it a shot but it didn’t work out. I cut all the extra trim off the inserts and then plastic welded/melted them on to the grill with a soldering iron. The iron actually did a decent job of making them stick, but unfortunately the inserts just weren’t big enough to fill the opening totally. There were some gaps you could see when you got up close and it wasn’t gonna fly with me. Oh well, this grill was doomed from the start 4d7c3f3be317b7d527b32f2b0968929d.jpg

I do it nice kuz I do it twice [emoji23][emoji23] sounds just like my way of doing things lol.

On the red, my opinion is, unless you plan on adding more red to the truck in other places like the ass or bedsides then keep it black. Just my 2 cents but to each there own [emoji869]

Yeah I am kinda thinking the same thing. Putting red in the grill might be too much. I still am going for a clean cut look. I did love how I painted the ram emblem on the first grill though, I’ll at minimum keep that

I do like the idea of a mopar emblem instead of the ram head, just for a different look. Maybe I’ll look up ideas on a custom one. I don’t think I’m going with a mesh insert now. Too much money for real ones and my attempt at it failed so slats it is.

honestly i think you could pull it off, i took the chrome ram head and did a candy teal tint on it on a white truck i had, it was the only teal and it didnt stand out any, i eventually added a little bit of teal to the inside of the truck too but never any more on the outside before i sold the truck

Sweeeet! Are you gonna have any angle eye/halo/demon eye action?

Sent from my magic 5-inch
Thanks :)
Idk yet. After seeing Demons green headlights that kinda peaks my interest in some red backlight behind the projector. I’m not big on the halo look though for mine.
