Now just to install switchback white/amber turn signals to get rid of the ugly amber park lights....

You could always unhook the parking light from the bulb socket and just run the strip as your parking lights

If it were legal, I would only run my amber lights at night through the city and only turn my lows on when I'm on the country back roads. Love the bright amber. But I have had some switchbacks in my shopping cart for a while now lol one of these days I'll get em and see if I like em

I could do that but my goal is to have it all lit up white so the switchbacks will illuminate the parking light white until the turn signal is pressed.

Only thing is, the yellow next to the super amber LED's..... think it might look goofy. But I can grab some cheapo bulbs and test

its not for everyone but the visibility is awesome

The visibility? Does yellow/amber light up the view better than white or something? I mean, I know blue ricer lights reduce it, but is 5000k actually worse than 3000k or 4300k?

Sneak peek at the bumper again haha. Got the two side wings tacked up last night after work. Was freezing my a$$ off last night doing it.

In front of the building was also a mudpit after it rained for a whole day straight

Wouldn’t be soon. I have some other work planned on it before front bumper but I like it. Just needs fog lights and tow hooks. I never plan on getting stuck, but I like my front tow hooks and the fogs come in very handy. Hopefully the whole sheet of steel didn’t get used. A 250lb bumper would be a bit much. My truck already weighs a ton

Yeah I have tow hooks and fog lights ready to go, just gotta weld them on and repaint. I’d say it weighs about 30-40lbs heavier than the original bumper, but definitely a LOT stronger.

Yes the visibility is much better, the human eye responds best to amber/yellow, and it responds worse get deeper in the blue spectrum, pretty much the best visibility is 3000k and technically it gets worse from there, for headlights i will usually run a 4300k or 5000k, those are obviously the two best "white" colors for the best output, but i always will have yellow fogs as they actually help in bad weather conditions
