Flash module for OEM lights

Does anyone have any experience with flash or strobe modules such as Speed Turtle that just use the factory lights? I work DOT and get called out quite often at night and if the complaint is close enough to home I just respond in my personal vehicle rather than driving 15 miles to pick up company vehicle then back tracking. So I’d like to add something like that without going completely with hideaways or spending a fortune. As always any and all input is much appreciated!

I had great hopes for the speed turtle but after reading about other people’s experiences.... on another forum dedicated to emergency lights.... terrible reviews. I mostly payed attention to the few that installed them on 4th gen RAMS as that’s what I own.
Kind of a pain to program.
Multiple reports of funky electrical stuff happening throughout the truck.
Losing its programming. Then having to go through lengthy programming again.

After hearing those reports... to me it wasn’t worth the hassle

Thanks I appreciate the input. When I had first looked at it I had high hopes as well. The more I looked at it the more skeptical I became. Not looking for a full setup for no more than what I would use them for. Just looking to be seen a little more at night without going for a magnetic light or something similar.
