I received the update via the vehicle download back in September. I use the Via Mobile app quite a bit and it all still works. Try logging out of your accounts and re-logging in.

Thanks, good idea, I'll mess with logging out and unlinkng them then re doing this weekend. It will be fun to poke around and fine tune my settings anyway, been too busy with work. In the mean time, streaming them from my galaxy S8 works fine.

Ram 2013 8.4 w/nav still no go on the download... anyone have it to share?

Some 2013 Rams and 2014 Grand Cherokees (early builds) need a special version of the update. I guess the initial 8.4 units had slightly different hardware that doesn't take the "normal" version of the software well. You may need to contact RamCares (or another FCA contact) to get the software, they just need your VIN to confirm whether you are affected or not.

update went great!

UCONNECT_8.4A_RA3_17.11.07 Updated from version 13... don't think the previous owner ever installed any updates before on my 2014 Outdoorsman.

Only problem i noticed was the washed out backup camera as others have mentioned. a quick factory reset from the settings menu fixed that. All good now. Liking the display themes. (rocking the blue right now) i like how i can change it back to the orange. I thought i will be stuck with the blue after the update but the colors are selectable.

Now to figure out how to put on a custom background image :artist1:

My navigation is so painfully slow that it doesn't keep up even at city driving speeds. It will almost always take me past my destination and then it will say "rerouting" and if I keep following it blindly it will literally take me around in circles. I specifically ordered my 2015 Ram 2500 with this "top of the line technology" offered for the Ram but it is so woefully flawed that I use the much more effective Google maps on my smart phone. They recently sent me a notice to update my mapping for $150 but I don't think updating the map info is going to solve my function problem, anyone have a suggestion to get this to work properly? Thank you in advance for any input.

if you are still under bumper to bumper warranty take it to the dealer. It should not be like that.

Anyone try using the mobile apps , pandora, iheart that still has them after the upgrade? Just tried and they appear to try to log into my accounts, but then show constant network errors, service unavailable.

I want to say they were discontinued with the newer software, but I'm not certain on that. That may be why they are not working.

I unlinked iheart and pandora. Verified account says active till 2019, then no joy. Tried logging into each.. It tried but always says network error, try again later. Ok so I uninstalled uconnect app and reinstalled. Well now looks like pandora works now but messing with iheart.. keeps saying, after login "connecting" .. weird, but I'll get it figured out.

Too many network errors, uconnect app errors trying to connect to either app. Pretty much giving up and sticking with streaming. I'm pretty sure uconnect dosent want me to use them. Active account or not.

Well, well, well... 2 months into 2018, I finally received the update to my truck. Pulled into work this morning (30 min drive), backed into my parking spot, and right before I turn the truck off, the update notice pops up on my screen.

My MY13 NEVER got the OTA update. However, they made it available , finally on the UConnect web site and I downloaded the update onto a USB stick and did it that way.

Yea, I kept checking the UConnect site about every 2 or 3 weeks and it always said my truck was up to date. Guess I'm finally updated now, though. I let it work over lunch yesterday, then had to redo all my settings on the way home.

I'm also having an issue with the reverse camera being bright?? Any suggestions?

I've done that in the past and lost my navigation etc? Had to take back to dealer in order to get it reactivated? Is that normal, or a concern?
