Not trying to start a rumble here, but i was just wondering how long people have had fuel pumps last in there truck and what did they replace it with.

And the other question is, I am going to be replacing the motor in the near future with a stroker and is the factory pump going to be ok for this.

I don't have pressures or volumes of my current pump as I am just looking into stuff for the future

210k miles, factory pump. From being on the forums since 2012 and being pretty involved in the Facebook community for em history has shown Delphi to be the best for oem replacement.

245k with the factory pump. If you're unsure of if the new pump can handle it, just use the OE pump for now and test the fuel pressure once you put the stroker in. If its less than 40ish at any point, might consider replacing it. But i'm not familiar with replacements other than OE.

Thank you for the info guys, my biggest thing was also the fuel filter. Being its not a serviceable item just how long can these pumps live.

did you notice any drivability issues before it crapped out.

Just started taking longer to start up after sitting overnight. Even under heavy throttle when towing an 8000lb trailer it did not starve for fuel. When it quit it quit entirely all at once.
