I know I'll prob be in the minority but I think that color actually looks really good with the chrome. I would maybe put in some black inserts in the grille to tone it down. Wheels could be an option also.

Thanks. I'm looking at toning it down for sure! I was thinking of leaving the grille chrome ( i want to put my aftermarket gloss black mesh on it that was on my 14). I'm transfering over my black sport headlights. I'm thinking of getting some black covers for the mirrors. Thinking of plastidipping the chrome bumper bottoms.

Wheels are going to stay stock chrome clads in the pic for the winter, Summer I will swap my black hellcat 22s

Purdee. And I know I am in the minority but I love the chrome. Is that a new color for 2018? I don't remember seeing that when I was shopping but I was buying at the end of 2017 and looking at closeouts. The pickings were getting a little thin and the '18s were just starting to arrive.

Not sure actually. Its really goes with the interior light and a dark brown/red leather. It was between that and a granite crystal, and i like the granite but with the light tan and brown inside I wasn't a fan.

The Chrome isn't bad on this bc its ALL over lol and it looks like it was meant to be super shiny but my taste is to lessen that as much as possible, tastefully of course. Thinking the bumpers might stay maybe not, but the headlights will swap and the tails.

Picked her up today! Swapped headlights and tails at the dealer (they don’t know about the tails lol) but the black out tails and headlights really bring down the chrome to a more manageable level for me. I almost don’t mind the chrome bumpers or grille etc anymore. I also swapped all my weather tech floor mats, tonno cover and bed mat at the dealer as well.

Sad day to say goodbye to the 14 and see her all stripped down but the 18 is nice! I’m diggin the 8psd as well as far as shifts but gotta get used to the knob.

USPS never delivered the TRS HIDharness yesterday and it showed up today so I installed and verified it all works now. I’ve also already swapped new JBL club 3.5” dash speakers for the alpine system. Hope to get the sub done at some point before Monday.

Looks much better with the darker headlights I think if you do something with the mirrors and/or door handles everything else left chrome would be fine

Yea I like the blacked out stuff better than the chrome. I’m looking into pulling the trigger on some gloss black mirror covers.

On the way home from the dealer I knoticed an issue with the pass mirror. It looks cracked when sitting in the driver seat but depending on the angle you don’t see it, up close it is not cracked. It’s something going on with the finish. Dealer said they would warranty it so I’m not doing anything with the mirrors till that’s done.

Upgraded the dash and rear door speakers from the alpine to JbL club and made a huge difference. Sub is also swapped with w pioneer shallow and it sounds better.

5” slanted carven polishes tips installed.

AEM dryflow filter installed till I put the vararam in.

Had the HIDs working since the day I picked it up and I’m getting another harness today from trs so I can put the HIDs in the fogs finally.

Just got my chemical guys clay bar kit and getting some chemical guys top coat and jetseal delivered today. Hope to clay and seal it next week some time if it warms up alittle.

so your leasing the truck?? No offense but talk about a waste of money, thats like renting an apartment as opposed to paying for your own house . Just throwing your money away!! should have bought it , not lease it
