Android 4.4.4 is a very old operating system, Android 8 is the latest.

Watching the video shows response time is **** lol. Also they use an OLD iPhone 5 (probably IOS8) to do the mirroring... this isn't possible with iOS 9 or newer. While I think it is a great start - there still is a long ways to go. If they could code it so it runs uConnect and does CarPlay, now that would be a game changer.

I've installed this unit and I must say it's not bad at all.
the os is 6.0.1, the unit is responsive (boot time is slow at 30 secs) screen resolution is good.
carplay is mute here coz it's an android head unit.. if you really like carplay just download a skin from the play store.

How do you like the radio? I’m looking at getting one from Phoenix. I have the uconnect 8.4 now. Would you recommend the radio or is there a lot of glitches with it? I’m just worried it would be like most of the offbrand Chinese radios sold on eBay.
