No kidding I don't even want to drive it now. LOL. Finally got time to do finish polishing, seal, and wax (did the last two by hand). It was dark when I finished so I'll post more tomorrow. Sure came out nice! Wheels and wheel wells next! Let's talk about that spray wax. IMG_20171217_171428.jpg

WOW the results look great. The main things is---are you happy with the results?

This is the spray wax that I use---https://www.autopia-carcare.com/optimum-car-wax.html#.Wjf9xFWnGG4
I have had very good results with it. I use it after I wash and dry the truck. Spray on and wipe off with a microfiber towel. It gives your "wax" a little more longevity and it gives it a little more "pop". It's about a 15-20 minute job. Usually only one or two sprays per panel. I also have started adding a splash or two to my wash water when I wash the truck.

This is another spray wax product that has gotten some great reviews recently, however I have not tried it yet.

@ ramportin1 Thank you! It was hard to get one showing any results at night in my garage lol.

And thanks Jay! Means a lot coming from you. I am really happy with the results! Kind of surprised how I was able to remove 99.9% of the swirls and get the paint looking better than the day I bought it. I'm gonna go ahead and get that wax you use and do my best to 'maintain' my hard work.

Took a few pics on my lunch break, haven't even pulled the tape yet! shows the results much better.

Dude, I heard of car meets having the old 'ruler trick' where the held a ruler perpendicular to a surface on a car and tried to read the numbers through the paint reflection. My buddy said he waxed his stuff with some $200 a bottle stuff and cotton balls, and he claims he had to use a YARDSTICK to measure HIS shine, and that he could read it all the way to the full 36" crystal clear. "36 inch shine PLUS!" is what he said to me. With vigor, too.

But it's really a he said-she said story since he doesn't have the stuff or the car to prove it anymore.

Either way, my point is, measure up your shine after this. I'm hella curious.
