Is there a know problem with the park assist sensors on our 4th gens?
I have 2010 TRX4 the " clean park assist " message was on when I purchased the truck and since that was a couple months ago and I live in western pa I was thinking it was the weather and cold. Well we had a warm day a month ago and I could one sensor that had a pin hole in the back silicone part and was came out so I got a new sensor for that one and still no fix, so I crawled under it this evening and found the opposite outside sensor had a pin whole in it and was came out. So I just ordered another and hope that fixes the problem.

Is dodge aware of this issue or is it just me?

Sorry to throw old subject up did you ever have to replace a front sensor? Just wondering if you can do it with the front bumper on

The rear sensors are frequently a problem as well as the connectors. I've gone through dozens of them. Seems like the trucks with mud flaps don't have much issue so I'm thinking it's all the spray off the rear tires and build up on the back of the bumper around and on the plugs and sensors causing most of the issues. Doesn't seem like they've done anything to fix the problem as my 17' has the same plugs and sensors as my 11'.

Never had a sensor problem with mine, just during heavy snow days when I turn them off.
