I recently had bilsteins, 33 inch Nitto Trail Grapplers, and 20x12’s put on my truck. I noticed only around 60-65mph now, my flip up console will shake enough to rattle the change in my cup holder. The vehicle doesn’t shake, and it tracks straight as an arrow under heavy acceleration and heavy braking. Has anyone else experienced this with Trail Grapplers or similar tread mud tires? Could it be my alignment, or could it just be a sweet spot in mph with the lugs on the tires? It’s only at 60-65 mph.

If you've been playing in the mud recently it's possible that there is some still attached to inside/backside part of the wheels throwing the balance off slightly.

Are your wheels hubcentric?

Did they remove the clips off the studs?

Other than the snow recently, no. The tires are very clean

Yes, they are Hub Centric. The shop that put them on is pretty experienced widely known across the country. I’ll check with them about the clips. I slowly accelerated to 120mph and 60-65 was the only time it rattled. I also felt no shake in the steering wheel when the console was shaking. I appreciate the feedback!

He was talking about the rims, not the tires...snow/mud can pack in the rim from the inside and cause balance issues.

Can also toss a wheel weight easy enough and it will cause the same thing.

Balance is likely off somewhere.. get it rebalanced...

Some of these heavy tires are near impossible to balance perfectly...so some techs will call it good after a few spins

Only time i noticed any vibration with my trail grapplers, was when snow was stuck to inside of my wheel. It was very noticable. Trail grapplers are the best tires in my opinion. My truck had toyo open country MT when i got it. They ate horrible in the mud compared to trail grapplers. When they wear out, i will be replacing them with trail grapplers.

That's the one thing I don't like about my 20" wheels. Seems like the 17's are close enough to the brakes to melt off any deep snow you drive through and when I park there's enough heat that the water runs off, but the 20S the snow melts and sticks to the rims when I park and I get a frozen lump of ice on 1 side that throws of the balance. If you've hit any big potholes at speed or other road hazards carefully inspect your treads. I've had different tires get small blisters in the tread that causes vibration as well.

Taking off in 4 wheel drive makes my truck shake since I put the Bilsteins on.

if this well known shop has a road force balancing machine have them do that. Sometimes a regular balance doesn't cut it with mud tires.

Try a rebalance.
Mine did have a similar issue when I had Bilsteins on it. I swapped them out for Fox 2.0 and Zone UCAs and no more shake.
