I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Crew Cab with a Lift/Level kit on it. 3” in the front and 2” in the rear. Im looking to upgrade to some bigger muds and nicer wheels. I was hoping someone could give me some guidance on size and offset. I want the truck to look aggressive.

Thank you

I'd suggest 18x9 wheels with a medium offset (12 - 18mm) and some 35x12.50's.

The smaller the offset number, the farther out the wheel and tire will move past the fender. To fit the wider wheel with no rubbing, you have to move from your stock offset. What size wheels do you have now?

I have stock tires and wheels on now, 17” wheels and i 29” tires

Those stock wheels have a +25mm offset so going to a 18mm offset would move them out about 5/16" of an inch, going to a +12mm offset would move them out just a bit over 1/2". Normally, that's all you need to clear the control arms at steering lock.

You can go with a more aggressive offset if you like, such as 0 or even a negative offset to move them out further.

I'd say the minimum offset you want with a 9" wide wheel with 35's on your truck is +12mm

Im going through the same issue. I have a 2014 with factory 20's and +23 offset. Ive seen wheels with 0 and -12 and I like them both. With factory flares, I want them to be even with the flares so Im not sure which one to pick.

Thank you for the advice!
