2012 Ram Hemi. Driver's door hinge squeaks on opening / closing. Truck has never been hit or wrecked or anything like that. I have tried the following -

WD-40
Lithium Grease
Straight Grease from a Grease Gun
PB Blaster
Silicone Lubricant
Profanity

It goes away for a day then comes right back.

I believe I can beat that hinge out of the door with a hammer. Door will be falling off, but at least it won't be squeaking anymore. LOL.

What am I missing? Ugh.

Grease won't creep into where you need it, WD-40 is mostly solvent and makes a poor lubricant. I haven't used PB Blaster but I can tell you Silicone spray won't last.

Go buy a can of Fluid Film. It is water resistant as it is primarily used as an underbody rust inhibitor. It also makes a great lube for door hinges etc. I use it on my truck and our Wranglers exposed hinges exclusively. My doors are quiet.

Spray silicone lubricant (likely what Fluid Film is) or spray graphite.

I tried white lithium and dry moly, they only work for a few days. I tried fluid film and it works very well. I use it on my door hinges every oil change or twice a year. It does a great job.

Spray all the hinges thoroughly WD-40 and use for a few days and spray again. This will get some of the corrosion flushed. Them spray with white lithium. Continue both for maintenance as needed.

And don't forget the door latches and striker.

This will work. There are better products out there that will last longer but hard to find and way more expensive.

Fluid film will cling better. But also I like to use “red tack” it’s a grease, red color but has antiseize built in to help alittle more with seizing of parts. It’s made by Lucas I think.

I have the exact same problem on my 2014. The only thing that worked for me was motorcycle chain wax. It's designed to keep dirt out of moving areas. It works very well.
