I have a 2005 1500 leveled on 35s and I would like to know the best way to add some horsepower without spending 10 grand. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Don't bother with the intake manifold swap, while the trucks are the ugliest of the bunch they are the best performers flr the trucksCold Air Intake is in the mail, a tuner is next, and then probably looking at exhaust. I’m not afraid of tearing the engine down. How do new intake manifolds effect hp?
Tuner, exhaust. 456s wouldn’t be bad either

I agree, 4.56s are gonna make the most noticeable difference, but they're also going to cost the most, could be as much as $2000 for 4wd. Those 35s need the gear advantage of the 4.56s, especially if you've got 3.55s now.
Idk I think they look ok hahaDon't bother with the intake manifold swap, while the trucks are the ugliest of the bunch they are the best performers flr the trucks
Yours is an exception with a little bit of work in it lol
Vararam LOL that line booster is junk tooFrom what I've learned, full exhaust (including, and especially long tube headers) and a tune will be the most cost effective. Throwing a sonnax line booster on there will firm up your shifts some for only $60 as opposed to a 100's of dollars tuner.
After that, gears, cam, custom tune, everything else for full bolt on, and get a vararam air grabber intake. The faster your truck moves, the harder air is forced in, the more power you make.

My line booster works good, too. It doesn't feel like a hypercar, but 1-2 wot (and even less than wot) is much improved. All the other shifts seem better, too.Vararam LOL that line booster is junk too
