Ok guys, this is my first time posting on here so here goes.

First thing is I dont consider myself a be a head but the wheel bearings on my 2009 dodge game lamrie have gone bad. Now I researched the parts and procedures on how to best accomplish this. So anyway I went to pull off my hub caps to ensure that my 36mm socket would fit the axle nut but when i did so there was nothing there no axle nut, no rod just daylight on both sides. This scared me since all the videos I wached all took this part off. So my question is if this is a big deal or not.

Is this a legit question or a joke, lol. 2 wheel drive trucks don't have front axles only 4 wheel drive trucks have front axles, hence the designation of being 4 wheel drive. You're truck is apparently a 2 wheel drive truck,so it doesn't have anything in those holes,so you don't require the 36mm socket .The procedure is still the same to replace the hub, just with-out having to unbolt an axle
